Vision, Mission & Goals
The Vision
SJU will serve as a channel in helping student athletes excel in all facets of life. SJU's vision is to produce student athletes who will impact their families and communities as a result of their participation in educational, social, and cultural services offered by the program.
The Mission
The purpose of SJU is to motivate and prepare those student athletes who are socially and economically underrepresented in higher education due to their families' educational background and other federal or institutional criteria to enter and complete post secondary education.
Program Goals
The goals of SJU are to:

Empower socially and economically challenged student athletes to successfully graduate from high school

Aid student athletes and families in the college admissions process

Motivate student athletes to enroll in and graduate from an institute of post secondary education

Enrich student athletes lives academically, socially, culturally and financially

SJU Student Athletes will receive numerous services that enhance their social and academic development, including:
